This weeks’ healthy tips:
1. Do your best to get the proper amount of sleep (minimum 7 hours per night). Go to bed on time. Switch off the light. Get into the habit of doing this at the same time every night – it can really help you avoid insomnia..
2. Try a glass of hot milk with a small pinch of ground nutmeg if you can’t sleep. The amino acids in the milk acts like a natural sedative. (Don’t bring the milk to a boil; take it off the burner just as it starts to sizzle round the edges, if you’re heating it on the stovetop.
3. Getting a good nights sleep is an integal part of livinga healthy life.

Thank you for this insightful article on the benefits of organic food for staying fit. It’s refreshing to see a comprehensive breakdown of what constitutes organic food and its numerous health advantages. I particularly appreciate the emphasis on organic food being part of a holistic approach to health, which includes regular exercise and good sleep habits.
One aspect I’m curious about is the accessibility and affordability of organic foods for the average consumer. In many regions, organic products tend to be more expensive than their non-organic counterparts. Do you have any tips or suggestions for those who want to incorporate more organic foods into their diet but are constrained by a budget?
Also, it would be interesting to know more about the environmental impact of organic farming compared to conventional farming. While the health benefits are clear, how does organic farming fare in terms of sustainability and its carbon footprint?
Lastly, the mental health benefits of consuming organic food are intriguing. Could you elaborate on the scientific basis behind this? Are there specific organic foods known to have a more significant impact on mental well-being?
Looking forward to your next article on “A Better Life with Deliberate Actions” and hoping it delves into practical steps we can take to improve our daily lives. Keep up the great work!
Hi,
Many thanks for your detailed and helpful comments.
You mention the cost of organic food, which I agree could cost more, you could also look at some of the health stores, if you have any close by, they often have bargains. If you have a market near you, try visiting half an hour or so before they close, often bargains can be had.
Regarding organic farming and mental health, will try o investigate further, this could be another article? But many thanks for raising the question.
Regards
Stuart
